Rogier Meijer has been working as a lawyer since 2007. From 2007 until 2014 Rogier worked at the international firm Allen & Overy LLP on the departments Competition and Litigation & Arbitration. At the Competition department Rogier gained experience with cartel cases and merger notifications with the European Commission and Dutch competition authority. Since 2009 Rogier is active in the litigation practice where he advises and litigates on corporate and commercial disputes including disputes regarding takeovers, contracts, cartel damage and procurement law.
For his knowledge Rogier can also rely on his academic experience. From 2002 until 2007 Rogier worked at the University of Groningen where he obtained his PhD with a dissertation about State liability for infringements of European law. Rogier publishes articles in various academic journals and is editor of the Dutch journal Maandblad voor Vermogensrecht.
